Tónlistarmaðurinn Þórir Georg hefur komið víða við á þeim 20 árum sem hann hefur verið að gefa út tónlist. Hann hefur spilað í hljómsveitum á borð við Gavin Portland, Ofvitarnir, ROHT, Óreiða og mörgum fleirum. Auk þess hefur hann gefið út tónlist sem einyrki undir eigin nafni og listamansnafninu My Summer as a Salvation Soldier.

Nokkur góð er safn af lögum tekin upp á árunum 2009 - 2019 sem voru upprunalega gefin út á nokkrum mismunandi smærri útgáfum. Tónlistin er Lo-Fi samsuða af pönki, poppi og indírokki sem ætti að höfða til aðdáenda hljómsveita á borð við Guided By Voices, Pavement og Silver Jews.

Þórir Georg has been productive in the 20 years he’s been active in making and releasing music. Some of the bands he’s played in are Gavin Portland, Ofvitarnir, ROHT, Óreiða and many more. He has also released music as a solo artist both under his given name as well as the alias My Summer as a Salvation Soldier.

Nokkur góð is a compilation of songs recorded between 2009 and 2019 originally released on a few small, independent releases. The music is a Lo-Fi mixture of punk, pop and indie rock that should appeal to fans of bands like Guided By Voices, Pavement and Silver Jews.

From my personal point of view by far her best album. Wonderfully spooky and beautifully arranged. The vocals are phenomenally good and deep. The whole album is a favorite of mine, the whole and each of its parts. And definitely in the special edition with 12 songs and 1 hour running time. Real masterpiece. starcad
